  • How do I pay you?
    Invoices for the period of the booking are to be paid IN FULL prior to the commencement of the booking Any receipted extras within 7 days of the visit. Any outstanding invoices unpaid before commencement of new assignment can render the booking liable to cancellation without notice and without any liability on the part of Cool-4-cats. Contracts in excess of 4 weeks may be subject to special arrangements.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    FULL refund is available if pet owner cancels 24 hours prior to booking commencement. If cancelled within 24 hours of the commencement of the booking or or after the beginning of the booking, a 50% refund is available for the first seven cancelled days, and a 100% refund for any additional days after the initial seven day period expires.
  • What happens if my pet is sick whilst I am away?
    I always ensure that I take an emergency contact number for you or a friend/neighbour whom I can contact when you are away to ensure I liaise and get permission on the course of action they you/they wish me to take. If you or your representative want me to take the pets to the vet that is no problem and i only charge for an additional visit to cover this event.
  • What happens if there is a problem with the house?
    I will liaise with you or your emergency contact on the best course of action and follow your directions.
  • How do I know you are responsible?
    I always bring along my references and CRB certificate and insurance certificate to reassure new clients. I am also a member of the 'National Association of Registered Pet Sitters' and am listed on their website for extra piece of mind
  • Why should I choose your company?
    I have been running the company for over 15 years, I ensure that I spend half an hour per visit and refuse to run a 'feed and leave' service! This is my main occupation and I do not carry out pet sitting as a side line to full time employement to ensure I have time for our pets. I have had to take several felnes to the vets, on one occasion I could not get hold of the owner but i refuse to leave any animal in distress so ensured he had vetinary attention.
